‘Freedom Day’ updates at Atlantic Reach – July 2021
As the world starts to open up and people look forward to ‘freedom day,’ we have rounded up the answers to a few of our most common FAQs.
The main thing you need to know is that safety is still our number one priority, so we’re keeping lots of our current regulations in place to give you peace of mind when you’re visiting Atlantic Reach. Here are the all important details you might need to know.
You must book in advance to use the pools
The guidelines for pool operators have changed due to covid, meaning we have reduced the capacities in order to make it a safe and enjoyable experience for all. In order to control numbers, we’re keeping our pre-booking system in place for both the indoor and outdoor pools.
Holiday guests: can book 1 day in advance from 6.30am. Please note that you must have a leisure pass in order to use the pool (these will be issued at the time of arrival so you can book as soon as you have them!)
Leisure Club members: can book 5 days in advance from 6.30am for the indoor pool, can book 1 day in advance from 6.30am for the outdoor pool
Locals: can book on the day from 6.30am

Although our changing facilities are open, we ask that you please arrive ‘swim ready’ where possible to minimise any congestion in communal areas.
You must also book into gym & classes in advance
If you’re staying with us on holiday, you can book to use the gym or join a class once you have arrived and have collected your leisure pass. Once you have your leisure pass, use of the gym is free and classes are just £3.
Please be aware that bookings can only be made through the Leisure Club reception desk (up to 5 days in advance).
Showers and toilets are open
All facilities are open for your use throughout the site, including the Leisure Club, pools and the campsite.
You can order a supermarket delivery!
This is one of our most popular questions and the answer is yes, you can order a food shop delivery to be dropped to your door! However, properties are often allocated upon arrival, so please do not order a delivery for the first day of your holiday. Instead, wait until the next day after check in and then add the property number in the order notes so that the delivery drivers knows exactly where to go!
Please be aware that if you don’t put your property number in the notes and the delivery driver ends up at reception, we can’t guarantee that all your goodies will make it to you – especially the biscuits! Our reception team are partial to a Hobnob or two…
There’s no need to book a table for food…
…Generally! Both The Manor Arms and The Café are taking walk ins, so simply show up and take a seat. The only exception is that you must book in advance if you’re planning on having Sunday lunch at The Manor Arms! Email their team directly on manorarms@atlanticreach.co.uk to book.
Continue to wear face masks if you wish
Even though all restrictions will technically be lifted, we’re asking you to please exercise caution and use your common sense when in communal areas at Atlantic Reach. If you feel safer wearing a mask, then please do so!
Finally, remember to be kind
We are a small, family-run team and we’re doing our absolute best to adapt to all the changes being thrown our way. We thank you for your patience and understanding in advance – and remind you to be kind, always!
Please do get in touch if you have any further questions or concerns. We can’t wait to welcome you to Atlantic Reach soon!
