Coronavirus and 2021 holidays at Atlantic Reach
Updated – 30th December 2020:
Cornwall has now been designated Tier 3 in the Government announcement on 30th December 2020 and unfortunately this means the holiday accommodation cannot be used and is now closed. We will be contacting all customers who have bookings between now and the end of January 2021. If this impacts a current booking, please read our Book with Confidence information.
The Swimming Pool and Gym remain open for our local Leisure Club Members.
We do have accommodation bookable by key workers who can provide the correct paperwork.
Day trips, business visits, etc: If you have recently been to a Tier 3 or 4 area and have a reason to visit Atlantic Reach (other than staying which is not permitted) then we would ask you to contact us before making any arrangements to visit.
We have made some significant changes to our 2021 and 2022 offering (full details on our homepage), so we can continue to provide a safe home-away-from-home, and so you and the family can enjoy your Cornish getaway, and all bookings come under our Book with Confidence promise . This means that some of our pricing has come down and things may look a little different when you visit us next as we’ve put lots of measures in place to keep you and our team safe. It’s the usual Atlantic Reach experience that you know and love but with some extra considerations for your peace of mind!
Here’s a little bit of what we’ve done to make sure you still get the most out of your 2021 and 2022 family holidays!
Atlantic Reach is located amongst 45 acres of stunning countryside – so where better to pitch up for the night than in the great Cornish outdoors? Brand new for 2020 and with 115 pitches for tents and touring caravans, there’s plenty of space and fresh air for those wanting to get back to nature and breathe in that fresh Cornish air. We haven’t actually made any adjustments to our holiday homes as they are already geared up for social distancing stays. Super clean, comfortable and spacious – each house has its own grass area with outside seating and each are fully self-contained. Whether you’re playing in the garden or soaking in the hot tub under the stars, you’re guaranteed a safe and peaceful stay at Atlantic Reach. Take a look at our range of accommodation here.
Stunning natural environment
One thing that we’ve certainly recognised ourselves over the past few months is how to enjoy the simple things in life – and what’s more simple than the natural, rugged coast of Cornwall? We’re just a short hop from Newquay and all its stunning, sandy beaches like Fistral, Crantock and Watergate Bay. There are also lots of hidden, secluded coves for a bit of peace and quiet and plenty of bike trails and water sports to try. Not to mention that the sunsets along the north coast are postcard perfect – way better than Netflix! Cornwall really is one giant outdoor playground, and the weather is the best in the whole of the UK! See, with so many uncertainties around foreign travel, there’s really no need to try and go abroad when Cornwall’s waiting…
Communications and updates
We’ve made a few adjustments to our check in process to avoid bottleneck arrivals at peak times and to adhere to social distancing rules (we will give you all the details you need in an email two weeks prior to arrival). We will also be regularly updating our Atlantic Reach app, which is free to download, with important details and information relating to coronavirus and your stay, so all the info you need is just a click of a button away.
With open plan homes, new camping pitches in wide open fields, acres of space on site, world-class beaches just down the road and our unbeatable central location, your next holiday at Atlantic Reach is just a click away. Take a look at availability here, and please do get in touch if you have any further questions or concerns. We can’t wait to welcome you to our beautiful part of the world soon!
Our preferred contact method is email, and we will endeavor to respond as soon as possible. If you need to speak to us, please call our Reception Team on 01726 860 775 between 9am and 4pm.
