National trust car park and a walk across the fantastic dunes to this amazing and beautiful beach. A little river runs down to the sea and is great for playing. There are caves and islands, amazing rock pooling, good surf and cliff walks to die for. The BBC are regulars here filming Poldark. Thats how good it is!
The best know beach in Britain. Great surf all year round and big enough for all. Festivals events and cool places to eat and shop. Beach hire and tuition for all sports. Everything you need for a full day in the sun or sea. It can get really busy but that just adds to the buzz. A tip is to park and go on to the beach from the South end to avoid the crowds.
Lusty is a hidden Gem. Down steep steps to this private beach. Lusty lays on all kinds of live and evening entertainment. Full water sports, hire, tuition and the home of Cornwalls Wave runner centre for the petrol heads out there.
This is one of our favourites. Amazing play for kids with steep dunes acres of sand and a river that runs down to the sea. Great surf and beach hire. National trust car park just behind the dunes. Good walks and dog friendly. It's hard to top Crantock.
There are a host of other Beaches. Perranporth with over 3 miles of beach more great surf and great walks. More beaches in and around Newquay... Porth, Whipsaderry, Tolcarne and Towan beach just by Newquay Harbour entrance. Further afield in both directions there is an abundance of great stuff. Ask at reception for some good local tips
